Seeking Town Judge

NOTICE OF VACANCIE FOR TOWN JUDGE.
The Town of St. Ignatius will have a town judge position available as of February 10th, this position is an elected position and interested individuals will fill the rest of the Judges term which expires on 12/31/2029, and at the next election may file to retain the position.
Interested individuals should send a letter of interest with any information they deem pertinent to the position, the individual selected will have to attend the Montana Judges training in April to become certified.
Individuals must be 18 years of age and reside in Lake County to be eligible for this position.
Letters of interest must be received by U.S. Mail addressed to Town Clerk at PO Box 103 St. Ignatius, MT 59865 or by email to clerk@townofstignatius.com no later then close of business 5:00 P.M. on January 26th. Council will review letters and decide on the February 3rd meeting at the regular meeting of the town council at 6:00 P.M.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting so that council can ask questions about the candidates.
