About Us

Rich in history and native culture St.Ignatius is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation, approximately 25 miles South of Flathead Lake.

Named for, and the site of the St.Ignatius Mission, established by Belgian Jesuit Catholic Missionary Fr. Pierre-Jean De Smet.

Affectionately referred to as “Mission” by locals, St.Ignatius is town of 842, per the 2010 census.
